Info Post
Some time back, I featured a video on the Atomic Power Review YouTube Channel that showcases INDY Car driver Simona de Silvestro, who makes a good, honest and straightforward case for nuclear energy that anyone of just about any age can understand.  (See it here.)

This week, we have a great sort of follow on to that older video.  Kirsty Gogan Alexander, Head of Communications of the Nuclear Industry Association (which is a UK affair, not a US affair) gave a presentation at an Institution of Civil Engineers event making the case for nuclear energy very strongly.  While the event was in England, it's important to note that very many of the points she made (clearly and effectively, I might add) apply quite generally to nuclear energy world-wide.  You can click here to see the entire presentation; Kirsty is the lead speaker.  You can also follow her on Twitter, where she's found as @kirstygogan.  The Nuclear Industry Association's site has been linked from the sidebar of this site for some time.

To round out this update, Southern California Edison has made a new, short video detailing the importance of San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station to the overall grid stability and reliability in southern California.  This is important to see - many folks clamoring for shutdown of nuclear plants might not have realized some of the truths about electric distribution which are revealed in this video.  Click here to see it.
