Info Post
It looks like the earlier wire reports, first sent out apparently by NHK are incorrect and that TEPCO has AC cables connected now to the load centers of No. 1 and No. 2 plants.. although we've seen no retraction of the earlier story.

Reports now are that the concrete pouring vehicle, with a 50 or 55 foot long boom (and which has been shown to work with water as well as concrete) has been brought in. Which plant it will approach remains unknown; the plan originally was for this vehicle to be used for the very tricky access at No. 4 plant.

Finally, at the first of the new Japanese government briefings for foreign media, a US reporter is said to have indicated that the Japanese need to be more forthcoming with radiation levels because the other nations overseas are quite alarmed and haven't been getting any good information.

Those of you who have been reading this blog since the start know what complete garbage that is; once again, the American media makes the nation appear stupid.
