Fukushima Daini Status Report

This site has not been in the news almost at all, since all four reactors are in cold shutdown..

However, TEPCO's latest press release mentions cooling failures at No.1 and No.4 at Fukushima Daini and I want to explain that the system failures here are not those for cooling the reactors themselves, but for removing heat from things like electric pumps. This system, which circulates fresh water through components and then exchanges it to seawater, is important however and TEPCO found some equipment failures at each plant. The equipment was replaced and the systems are back online and functioning normally.
