On the wire now is a report, about 17 minutes old, and apparently from TEPCO indicating that AC power is now available at the load centers of all six plants at the Fukushima Daiichi site. This means it's available to connect, or is connected BUT it doesn't mean yet that any actual internal systems are energized. Load checks at last report were still in progress at the highest priority plant, No. 2, to get core cooling capability and instrumentation and control back on line. We'll now expect load checks to start at all the plants to get damaged equipment fixed and online or else replaced and online.
