Just eight or so minutes old on the wire is the report that TEPCO has reached the load center of No. 4 reactor plant with AC power cable at the Fukushima Daiichi plant.

Apparently the radiological situation hasn't hampered the company's undoubtedly maximum efforts to get power back to the four seriously damaged plants.

Noted earlier today by NISA was the fact that internally to the plants the workers are finding such things as disrupted conduits - probably a combination of effects from the quake, tsunami and explosions - further complicating getting electric power into the plants.
