Updates in a flurry as the day gets moving in Japan..

TEPCO indicates that the pump that tripped at No. 5 plant was the temporary Residual Heat Removal System seawater pump. They're on it.

TEPCO has released a detail about the jury-rigged system they'll try to get working on units 2, 3 and 4; they've hooked up externally to the Fuel Pool Cooling and Filtering / Cleanup system and are injecting seawater through it into the spent fuel pool of No. 3 plant. We mentioned this before on this blog.
