Info Post
The overall response to the situation at Fukushima Daiichi is becoming more aggressive, and some results and plans for today:

-Four water dumps on the No. 3 plant by Self Defense Forces helicopter performed in order to cool the spent fuel pool

-Stringing of new power line from existing power grid outside Daiichi site, into the site and right up to the reactor plants, if needed, may be partially completed by this afternoon local time (that will be deep overnight tonight, in the Eastern US time zone).. a top priority of TEPCO and N&ISA. This may get I&C back on line and could get RCIC back.

-Also in the afternoon local after some preparatory work by TEPCO, the fire cannon trucks, eleven in all, which were waiting apparently at a US base will head to the site for operations by TEPCO and the police. This will be aimed at the spent fuel pools at No. 3 and No. 4 plants.

Many organizations are clearly together on this, and the response is much more forward, and aggressive, and we like it!
