Japanese media is reporting that No. 1 and No. 3 reactors are stable, while water continues to go into No. 2 reactor. Damage to the suppression chamber below No. 2 seems assured, by reports. Overall, given the nature of the situation so far, this is all slightly encouraging.

As prior we need to wait for live briefings... especially since TEPCO's website has gone completely silent regarding updates on the Daiichi plant condition.

All four plants at the Daini plant are in cold shutdown and are safe.
